GET CREATIVE AT THE BETTRIDGE

Feeling creative? Wish you could spend more time doing a hobby you enjoy - or would you like to learn a new skill? Two new groups have started this year - one for crafts on Thursday evenings, and one for arts on Wednesday mornings.
Handy Crafters meet every first and third Thursday of the month from 7 - 9pm. This group welcomes crafters of all interests, ages and experience: whether you want to try something new or pursue an old favourite.
The Art Group meets on Wednesday mornings from 9.30 - 11.30am. We can provide equipment such as easels and drawing supplies, but painters (and sculptors!) should bring their own materials.
The aim of both groups is to provide a friendly, supportive environment in which to make the most of your chosen hobby - or learn a new one - in the company of other like-minded people. Because no tutors are involved, the cost is only £2 per session, and members are free to drop in - and out - when it suits them.

We'll be running some fantastic puppet shows at Easter as part of this year's Puppet Animation Festival and we're looking forward to another visit from Fiona Knowles in June - see our What's On page for more details!

We have an extensive range of leisure activities for all the family: keep fit, badminton, dancing, art classes - for a full list of what's available please see Programme and Prices.

The centre is also a fantastic venue for functions, meetings and events of all sizes: ranging from a themed party for a 3-year-old to a conference for 100 or a concert for 300 - we can offer you the venue you need at a price you can afford.

Please visit our Facilities page for more information, or call us now on 01569-731320 to find out how we can help you make your event one to remember.
