SALT Festival HARRY THE POLIS author and stand up comic Wednesday 15th September 7.30pm Tickets Ł5 available from the centre or from the SALT Festival Box Office at Portlethen Library	Harry Morris, aka Harry the Polis, is a former police officer who started out writing funny stories for a staff newsletter and now recalls tales of his 29 years spent in various departments throughout the city of Glasgow and Strathclyde region in a series of fictional books. Harry is fast becoming known for being more than a retired policeman. His stand-up show has sold out venues throughout Scotland with fans eager to see the down-to-earth Glaswegian recite his tales live. His style has been compared to that of Billy Connolly - without the swearing!
